If your content, your words, your videos, your pictures are everywhere you’ll always in be your market’s mind. Snapchat, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin, etc. Be there and post your good stuff.
I used to blog a whole lot more and not blogging has actually become a bit of a disadvantage. To be honest, I’ve lost a bit of traffic do to inactivity and being too distracted by all the projects and jobs I’ve been part of. Live and learn, it’s something we’ve all had experience with.
Here’s what’s not right and is the main problem: Almost nobody talks about this.
Why is it that very few people are actually real when it comes to being a thought leader? Is it because they’re afraid people will think they have blood, a soul, and a heartbeat?
Personally, if I heard more about the struggle entrepreneurs I respect went through I’d have more guts to push on and do the hard thing late at night like writing this blog at 2 in the morning.
Thank God for people like Grant Cardone and Gary V who show what really goes on with the business life.
Busi-ness: That word should make you think.
Here’s the real brass tax. And I don’t expect you to read this whole post, there’s a lot in it, but please: Learn to write how you speak. I hate reading something that is like a professor wrote it for his biology exam 16 years ago and thought it’d be a good idea for the internet.
Now you see it, now it’s gone.
What inspires me to write is seeing real, genuine successful people working on their business at 1 in the morning. Who do you think that is? Right, all the true successful people.
Who do you think goes to bed at 10pm and wakes up at 8? Broke people.
Sure, you’ve got exceptions who’ve been successful for years and can relax a bit. But that’s after the grind.
You’ve got to learn, apply, develop strategy, execute, test, tweak, try again, be consistent, persist, never give up, and show patience until you’ve achieved the next big result.
Negotiation, Selling, Persuasion.
The art of persuasion is staying in the other person’s world.
Be so understanding of who you’re talking to that it seems like you know what they’re thinking. This is coined, “mind reading”.
