2016 has been the year of getting things done. What do I mean?
I’ve always been a “no regrets” type guy. Always do what you intend to do and don’t worry about not hitting goals or getting to some important things that just got placed on the back burner.
How many times has this happened to you?
Maybe it seems nonsensical, yet I doubt many of us actually do any differently unless it’s the total opposite of worrying about that which didn’t get done.
So this year, everything on that “to do” list in the past is getting done. Even small things. From wall mounts for the TV, to getting luxury cars (or even selling them). Because life is just to short to not get to the point.
I looked at a photo from 10 years ago, I’m digressing (deal with it), then the thought came into my mind how my life would be different if I’d determined at that point to focus 20 minutes or more on one single productive and income producing activity for the next 10 years.
Wouldn’t that be amazing?
Now, you’ve probably done this and the immediate emotion which comes out is regret and maybe a little anger. “Whatever” is the thought which comes to mind.
But that’s not supposed to be the way.
The past is there to give us actions to do so we can change our future.
You can either live in regret of not taking massive action 10 years or 10 weeks ago, or you can choose to take action now in light of the last 10 years so that the next 10 years will be magical.
What’s something you could’ve done 10 years ago that if you’d done it your life would be totally different?
What are you going to do starting now to make the next 10 years the best 10 years of your life?
